00:03: Hi there and welcome to click forms. This introductory video is for new users and will show you how to log in and access the dashboard.

00:11: From here, you can access all features of Click forms. So let's get started. We can't wait to see what you create.

00:20: When you access the app either by going to form click forms.com.

00:26: Or though, the login Link in the click forms website, you will be taken to the login page.

00:34: assume you have already created an account and click forms, but if not click on the create account button,

00:40: To sign in Click the sign in button and enter your login and password details to begin accessing. Your click forms account.

00:49: This is the click forms dashboard.

00:51: You can get to any part of Click forms from here.

00:55: On the left of the screen, is the dashboard menu. And from here, you can access all parts of Click forms to the right of the menu is the main screen.

01:04: This will change depending on what part of Click forms. You are currently in. For example, this screen shows the form screen which is empty at the moment because we haven't created any forms yet.

01:16: many menu items have useful help popups that will provide you with useful information about that menu item when you hover over them.

01:24: They will sometimes have links that you can click on to provide even more detailed help.

01:30: OK, lets start with accessing the different APPS, that you have access to in cliqforms .

01:36: we'll start with the forms app.

01:38: Click on the forms menu item.

01:41: When you first use click forms, there will be no forms. So, click on the create Forum button to start building a new form.

01:48: This takes you to the form creation screen where you can create a new form from scratch or by using a template

01:55: The dashboard menu also includes links to the landing page and QR code generator apps.

02:00: We have created separate training videos for each of our apps.

02:05: Any new apps we create in the future will also be found here in the dashboard menu core items.

02:13: You can easily minimize the dashboard menu by clicking on the minimize icon. Next to the click forms logo at the top left of your screen.

02:21: Click on it again to show the full menu.

02:24: Help is NEVER more than a click away.

02:28: Click on the HELP icon to be taken to various help and training options.

02:33: The Click forms chatbot is available at any time to answer questions. You may have

02:38: to access the chatbot. Click on the chatbot icon at the bottom right of the screen.

02:44: our chatbot is not only useful for getting help,

02:47: any important notification about system updgrades, either upcoming or recently introduced, are also displayed here.

02:55: you will see a red dot with a number on it if there are any notifications.

02:59: To chat with our support team or send a message to them. Enter your message here,

03:49: When you have finished, click on the logout menu item to log out of your CliqForms account and exit securely.

00:05: For this tutorial, I will guide you through creating a basic contact form.

00:11: if you haven't yet created a form and click forms, then this is a great tutorial to start with

00:16: So, let's get started.

00:19: Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the dashboard.

00:22: click on the forms menu item to open the forms app.

00:27: once you are in the forms app, click on CREATE FORM

00:32: when you start a new form, you will be asked if you want to start from scratch with a blank form or if you would like to use a click forms template,

00:40: there are over 100 templates to choose from all created by our team. And these are often a great place to start.

00:48: For the sake of this tutorial. However, let's start with a blank template from scratch.

00:54: We are now in the form builder.

00:56: we'll start by giving our form a name, lets call it Contact Form.

01:01: to choose the question type, click on the right side of the field, and you can choose which type of question to ask.

01:08: we'll start with "first name"

01:10: Let's add the next question.

01:12: To display. The next question, click on the orange plus icon.

01:16: Adding a question using the orange plus icon, adds a question to the same page.

01:22: once again, choose QUESTION for your next field

01:26: and then once again, choose your question type

01:30: and choose "LAST NAME"

01:33: lets add another question

01:35: choose "QUESTION" type again

01:38: and now, we'll get their email address

01:42: In every field type, there are a number of advanced settings.

01:46: Often, the default settings work, just fine. But if you need to fine-tune things on any field, this is where you will find them.

01:54: Let's look at some of them.

01:56: tooltips are a GREAT way to give your users some additional help.

02:00: any text you type here will pop up, like this TEXT, when they hover over the round "I", in a question.

02:07: placeholder text is useful for showing an example of what needs to be entered.

02:12: for example, to show them they need to enter an email address in a certain way

02:18: Okay, let's create another section or page in our form questions in this section. Display only after the user has completed the previous section.

02:27: You create a new section by clicking on the blue plus icon.

02:32: choose a question type

02:34: lets add a phone number

02:37: lets add one more question

02:40: and, we will add a DATE field

02:43: Okay.

02:44: We've designed a basic contact form in two sections.

02:48: Now, let's create and save the form. Click on the create button to create and save the form.

02:55: You can now preview your form to see how it looks, by clicking on the preview button

03:00: to exit the form builder, click here

03:04: Click "Back to Dashboard" to finish creating and managing forms, and return to the main dashboard screen.

03:12: Well done, you have successfully created and configured a basic form in Click forms, including adding fields and customizing settings.

03:21: Click forms is a powerful form Builder and there are many ways to customize your forms, but hopefully now you have grasped the basics.
